Overview
God, orphans, and honey.
Monks toil away all day preparing incense, scripture, and the finest honey you've ever tasted. Once they have all the materials they need they will ring the bell to signal a sermon is about to begin. When the God-fearing folk of SAELIG hear the bells they will make haste and attend the sermon. Some will leave the sermon blessed, and a few will be healed.
The churches of SAELIG also serve as a shelter for orphans. If a child finds themselves parentless they will make their way to the church where the monks will give them a bed, warmth, and food while they await a new home.
Churches are run by the town Abbot, which is a position of power given to someone by the town Elders.
